Fees
Cost and Insurance
In order to provide the best psychiatric care, I do not accept or participate in any commercial insurance plans, Medicaid or Medicare. This means that I am an out-of-network provider and payment is out of pocket.

If you have out-of-network benefits, I will provide you with the necessary documents to submit a claim to your insurance company. Patients with out-of-network benefits may be eligible to receive partial to full reimbursement from their insurance company. This varies widely depending on your insurance company and specific plan. Please contact your insurance company directly to check if you have out-of-network benefits.

My fees are comparable to other child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrists in Manhattan. Please contact me directly to discuss my rates. I reserve part of my practice for patients with financial hardship.

Payment
Full payment is due at the time of the service via credit, debit or FSA/HSA card.
FAQ
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to keep an appointment, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance via phone call or email. The full fee appointment will be charged if canceled within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment.
If you are running late, I will see you for the remainder of our allocated appointment time. For example, if you arrive 30 minutes late to a scheduled 45 minute appointment, you will be seen for the remaining 15 minutes. Payment for the full 45 minute scheduled appointment is required.
Prescriptions
If you are running low on your medications, please contact me a few days before you are due for a refill. Pharmacies may not have your medication in stock, which can cause a delay depending on the pharmacy or medication.
If the decision is made to start a new medication, this may require a prior authorization. Please allow 7 business days for prior authorizations.
